You don't need to have a clearly defined "problem" to go to therapy. Many people come with a vague feeling that something is not working or a desire for personal development and greater inner coherence.

Psychotherapy can be a support when life feels heavy, stuck or unmanageable, or when you feel a desire for change, greater self-understanding or more peace within yourself.

With me you get a safe, present and respectful space where we together explore the patterns, feelings and experiences that affect your life today. I work with Integral Dynamic Psychotherapy, which means that we look at the whole you – thoughts, feelings, body, relationships and life story.

I offer individual psychotherapy in Copenhagen and online.

Areas I often work with in psychotherapy -

Psychotherapy in Copenhagen – a safe space for change

Is psychotherapy for you?

Anxiety

Anxiety can manifest itself in many ways. As restlessness in the body, overthinking, worries or avoidance. In therapy we work to understand the function of anxiety, regulate the nervous system and create more security, inner peace and freedom of action.
Self-esteem

Many people struggle with an inner critical voice or a feeling of not being good enough. In therapy we work to strengthen your self-esteem, develop more self-acceptance and create a more supportive relationship with yourself.
Relationships & Boundaries

Challenges in relationships – relationships, family, work life or friendships – are often closely linked to past experiences. We examine your relational patterns and work with boundary setting, attachment and contact, so you can create healthier and more satisfying relationships.
Stress and Overload

Prolonged stress can lead to exhaustion, sleep problems, and a sense of losing yourself. Psychotherapy can help you restore balance, understand your patterns of strain, and find sustainable ways to manage both work and personal life.

Work-Life Balance

When external demands take up too much space, it can be difficult to feel your own needs. We work with priorities, values, and life direction so you can make choices that are more in line with yourself.
Grief and loss

Grief can occur after a death, divorce, illness, or other major changes. Therapy allows space for grief at your own pace and supports you in finding your footing again without rushing the process.

Trauma and more difficult life experiences

Previous traumatic experiences can affect both the body and the psyche. I work gently and at a pace that is in tune with trauma-informed psychotherapy, where safety, stabilization and regulation are in focus.
